George C. 6/02/19 # Hello, I've been trying to troubleshoot a Data I/O series 22's motherboard and power supply. The problem started with not being able to connect to the unit via promlink. The unit comes up and checks out ok. The cable is known good and when I check the RS pinout for signals didn't have a tx on the programmer side and. The Unifamily was the first series of Data I/O's programmers to feature a built-in user menu. All the programmer required for basic operation was a dumb terminal, hooked up via an RS serial port.
